The Lord is touching people to give

The past few days our Street Impact Team (SITeam) has received several local donations which has lifted our financial burden for now. We received two large gifts and several smaller ones so this could cover our salaries and office related expenses for the remainder of the year. After restless nights and hours of wrestling in prayer the Lord is touching His people to give. I also received word this week that a 17 year old girl in Canada who started a project called "Recycling for Life" which is recycling soda cans for Filipino children-in-crisis has raised along with her friends another $3,400Cdn for our Fish and Bread feeding ministry. Murphy and her family came to serve with SITeam for several weeks in '08 so she's become a champion for Christ and Filipino underprivileged kids. I've said it before and I'll say it again nothing gets done if there are no champions mobilizing people, material resources and prayer so Murphey is an example of this, a leader among her peers and a great blessing to me!
