Recharging our batteries strategically: either come apart or fall apart

Mary Ann and I are at Rizal Re-Creation Center on what I call a "strategic retreat" reading good books, our Bibles, thinking, praying and planning. We arrived Wednesday and return to Manila tomorrow. We're also enjoying good conversations with others, the fresh cooler air, good food and green surroundings. Before we returned to Manila in July I made a commitment to Mary Ann that each quarter we'll leave Manila to get our batteries recharged so I'm keeping my word. I say strategically because if we don't come apart for awhile we'll eventually fall apart.
