Article put on a diet because sometimes less is more

The first draft of my article for the Journal of Asian Mission about ministry to street children was 8,100 words but the editor put it on a strict diet and reduced it to 5,000+ words. She did a great job and it's now called "The Challenge of Street Children and their Families". It'll be in the Fall issue and I pray it stirs up God's people through-out the Philippines and Asia to minister the gospel and compassionate care to the tens of millions of street living children who daily surround us. As the editor said "sometimes less is more" and that's definitely true when it comes to writers and readers.
