This week we had camp with 56 energetic street kids and out-of-school recruited by two churches and four agencies. We also had several pastors/workers who volunteered to serve as cabin counselors and help with basketball, volleyball and other creative activities used to teach the campers godly character qualities and the Gospel. We were supposed to have a maximum of 50 campers but we stretched the food and made room for everyone the Lord sent us. Each camper was received with open arms and warm hearts and although they were difficult to deal with initially eventually they settled down. Several indicated they trusted Christ as Savior. There's always room in our hearts for more kids.
