Wednesday this week our team did a flood relief operation for 100 families still badly affected by our monsoon rain last August. Several families are staying in an overcrowded evacuation center located in a covered basketball court. It's said they'll remain there until dry season which starts in February or March. I'm continually amazed with what people have to put up with and endure each and every day.
Thursday Mary Ann and I flew to Minneapolis-St Paul where we're visiting her family for a week. Next Thursday we'll fly to Spokane to be with Danny and Micah Ann, our daughter, for the birth of their first child and our first grandchild. Amos, our son who lives in Pasadena, will join us there for Thanksgiving and bring a special friend who we'll meet for the first time. This trip is primarily about family though we'll visit supporters, minister in a church this Sunday and vote next Tuesday. We're available to minister in Spokane area churches November 11, 18 and 25 if you know anyone looking for a missions message/challenge. We leave for Manila November 28 arriving there the 29th.
