Visiting feeding sites this week: today was very encouraging

This Tuesday we started hosting a husband and wife videographer team sent to us by Feed My Starving Children who are with us to produce a 4.5 minute and several 45 second videos over the two weeks they're with us. We're praying they accurately capture what the Lord is doing through feeding malnourished children and teaching their families basic hygiene along with the Word of God. Today we visited a feeding conducted by our long-time partner church Servant of Christ Christian Ministry in Antipolo City. The 60+ kids were very happy, the young teachers taught with joyful skill, the cooks prepared a delicious nutrious meal and everyone ate their fill. It's obvious the community is grateful for the feeding and the love of Christ is flowing through Pastor James, his wife Dra. Lynne and their ministry team.

Speaking of ministry team I met 23 year old Buboy today who was a camper of ours in 2010 where he came to faith in Christ. He was brought to camp by Pastor James. He then went through our 10 month Honest Hands life-skills development ministry at 2nd Mile and now he's in our 12 month Working Hands discipleship-vocational training program also at 2nd Mile studying auto mechanics. Buboy will graduate from Working Hands this March and start Bible school in June. Pastor James is training Buboy on the weekends in ministry and the plan is, Lord willing, he'll become the pastor of Servant of Christ when Pastor James moves to another location to plant a church. The bottom-line is today was very encouraging.
