Last Sunday we ministered at the Whidbey Evangelical Free Church and they received us warmly and our message very responsively. It's like they were hungry to hear a fresh report and challenge from a missionary so over a long lunch with several folks from the church we looked into how we can partner together in ministry to street children. This discussion is ongoing. Then Monday we met with Nelson Reed, ACTION's International Director, all day and had a very productive day working out the "nuts and bolts" of my job description as his Associate. Tuesday we had precious time with Janell's grandparents, ran errands and spent the night at a hotel near Sea-Tac airport so we could rest before the long trip back to Manila via Los Angeles and Canton. We arrived in Manila in good shape yesterday and will lay low this weekend after a blessed three week trip to the LA, Portland and Seattle areas. It's good to be home!
