Writing, team meeting, Haiyan response and OiC: Lord help us!

This week I wrote one newsletter and worked on another. Writing is hard work! Yesterday we had our monthly team meeting and it was a nice break. SITeam is working on sending another shipment of text books to an elementary school in Tacloban, Leyte that was wiped out by typhoon Haiyan over six months ago. By the way this school lost 123 pupils in the typhoon. Classes start June 9 and schools are scrambling to get ready. School buildings are in ruins so classes are held in large very hot tents and teachers have no books. Terrible!! Our director and his family leave for a one-year furlough June 7 so I'm his Officer-in-Charge starting June 1. Lord help us!
