A few highlights of ACTION's 40 Year Jubilee

ACTION's 40 year Jubilee was a blessed time as we thanked the Lord of the harvest for the past 40 years of fruitful ministry and expressed our trust in Him for the future. Years ago the International Council expressed our desire to "send everyone to everywhere" which meant we'd need to work on new ways to do this and the Jubilee showed this is happening. ACTION missionaries attended the Jubilee from countries such as Cuba, the Philippines, India, Nepal, Paraguay, Brazil and Mexico for example. It was also a special blessing for Mary Ann and me along with others to be recognized to have served with ACTION for 25 years or more. Two other highlights were the positive reception of the 2020 Global Strategic Direction and the commissioning of Thomas Smoak as our incoming International Director and Daren Beck as our incoming Associate International Director starting March 2016. Prairie Bible College, formerly Prairie Bible Institute, was a very meaningful venue for the Jubilee because ACTION's founders were PBI grads and our first Canadian office was there. It was a special delight to see many who served faithfully with ACTION and are now retired from active service.
