Pedring hit us hard: it's like our "pedal is to the metal" with the brakes on

Typhoon Pedring hit Metro Manila and surrounding areas hard Tuesday so Wednesday we surveyed three areas where there was lots of flooding. Bulacan province, just north of Manila, is swamped and Calumpit, for example, is 90% underwater. Next week, October 5-7, was to be our camp for 50 street kids from Bulacan but it's postponed so our partner churches can deal with their situation. Since the camp is postponed we have time next week to respond to the requests for aid we're receiving but our relief account is empty so it's like our engine is running with the "pedal to the metal" but the brakes on. Pray please that the Lord will provide the means so we can help our brethren.
