Relief operation in Calumpit, Bulacan

Today our team gave relief packs to 150 families in Calumpit, Bulacan which has been submerged in water due to typhoons Pedring and Quiel almost two weeks ago. Areas of town are still under water and it's a mess! The families are from three partner churches in our ministries to children-in-crisis and were very grateful for our practical items. I spoke twice from John 14:6 and Galatians 6:10 and explained that the funds to buy our relief came from God's people both in the Philippines and other countries which shows God's concern for us through His people. One church is swamped so the relief was delivered by banca and another is full of water with fish swimming in the sanctuary. The folks in this church, in typical Filipino hospitality, fed us a very nice lunch with much laughter! We'll continue to help folks in Calumpit as long as funds allow and folks from both near and far are giving so most likely this was our initial relief operation in Calumpit.
