Small relief operation but a huge blessing
Today the Street Impact Team did a small relief operation in Besaco Compound located along Manila's north harbor. Besaco is a huge sprawling squatter community of 100,000 families and is known for crime of all sorts so it has a bad reputation. However we've worked there for many years by recruiting campers, had evangelistic Christmas parties, feeding programs, done large relief operations when the area has been struck by fire and befriended many people. Now we're seeing fruit. The folks who received our family packs were blessed because they lost pretty much everything due to our recent typhoons and we were blessed by their gratefulness and friendship.
