Yesterday at noon we gave hamburgers, pancit, juice and hygiene kits to several families living along a very busy avenue in Quezon City after greeting them with a hearty "merry Christmas!" They were totally surprised! As they ate we conversed together after which I gave a simple gospel message along with colorful easy-to-read Tagalog tracts. It was tough giving the message due to the traffic's noise and exhaust but people listened well. We were all smiles when we left and so were our new friends. Proverbs 22:9 (NKJV) sums it well "He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he gives of his bread to the poor."
