Rain comes down, floods come up and it's a very fluid situation

Over the past two weeks Metro Manila has experienced continuous torrential monsoon rains. The last three days we've had more rain then we get on average the entire month of August which has swamped 80% of the city and left several parts at a standstill. The past two Fridays we've postponed the conclusion of our strategic training for pastors and missionaries working with children-in-crisis and today's sportsfest is off because the location where it was to be held has severe flooding. We've now shifted our efforts to doing flood relief in partnership with Norweign Missionary Alliance-Philippines (NMAP) and several pastors who attended our training workshop two weeks ago held at NMAP. We'll do a major relief operation Sunday and Monday. Every rainy season when Metro Manila is pounded by typhoons and monsoons the floods come up and we're in a very "fluid" situation.
