Living on the edge

This week Metro Manila experienced daily monsoon rains and wind while central-northern Luzon was lashed by a typhoon. It's very difficult getting around Metro Manila in this kind of weather and life is very much on the edge for multitudes of people living in flood prone areas. Areas of Manila, Navotas and Malabon Cities located along Manila Bay are very flooded with impassable roads while life is back to normal in areas we visited today. People are very nervous when it rains hard because on a moments notice, day or night, they may need to evacuate to higher ground.
