Requests continue, post-Christmas parties, go team!

The Street Impact Team is preparing to send ten 200+lb boxes of Feed My Starving Children food to Legazpi City and 12 to Cagayan De Oro City to help partner churches and agencies feed street kids and victims of disasters. Another two will be sent to Daily in Christ Fellowship, with whom we did the major relief op two weeks ago, to feed people burned out by a huge fire January 1 in Quezon City. These are in addition to those waiting for FMSC so the requests continue.

Monday SITeam is traveling to Eastern and Western Samar and Leyte to turn over text books to an elementary school and do six post-Christmas parties for families struggling to overcome typhoons Haiyan and Hagupit. The trip also includes visiting the feeding sites using FMSC we sent to schools and churches there.

Today in Fargo, North Dakota people will pack 200,000 FMSC meals to feed malnourished people around the world and several thousand will be sent to SITeam. This project is being lead by Ron Stensgard and we're very grateful for his leadership. He'll be joined by several other friends. Even though we're far away physically we're there in heart and prayer. Go team!
