Mary Ann and I are in Winnipeg, Manitoba at their Missionfest. We arrived Wednesday afternoon and spent two days with the Loewens in Steinbach and Steinbach Bible College where Carl, a former coworker in the Philippines, is a missions prof. Yesterday SBC had a mini-missions conference and I was the keynote speaker. It was great being with the Loewens and SBC. Last night the Missionfest started with many mission reps, people from a variety of churches and a plenary session. It's also great being with the "road warriors" from ACTIONs office in Calgary. The "holy buzz" is wonderful! Today more of the same. Tomorrow I preach at a Filipino church and we return to Minneapolis in the late afternoon.
