ALS and Fish and Bread working together in partnership with churches/agencies

We have 169 Alternative Learning System learners who'll take the
Department of Education's national Acceleration and Equvilency exam
tomorrow. They're being tutored by 31 church and agency workers at 14
sites who've been trained by the Dept of Ed. Most of the learners are
our campers who are eking out a living on the streets and in open-air
markets and are our brothers and sisters in Christ. They've worked
hard to get to this point so tomorrow in a huge day! Pray for them
please.

Currently we feeding 1,815 kids at 27 sites in partnership with
churches and agencies through our Fish and Bread ministry. There are
55 churches and agencies who've gone through our training and are
waiting for their allotment of two large boxes of Feed My Starving
Children food so the need is great. We're grateful to Grace Church
Eden Prairie and Maple Plain Community Church for sending us this
food monthly.

Some of the ALS learners are receiving food through Fish and Bread so
both ministries are working together in partnership with churches and
agencies here and abroad.
