Trip to Minnesota, Washington & Ontario: dirt under my nails

Today we finalized our trip to Minneapolis-St Paul, Spokane and Toronto April 21-May 20. The Peoples Church in Toronto has supported us for many years and has invited us to attend their Global Outreach Conference and paid for the tickets so we're going. We'll represent ACTION and our ministries among children-in-crisis so this fits well with my position within ACTION. I've been told many times the best recruiters are missionaries "with dirt under their nails" and after 26 years of working with kids on Manila's streets and in our vast squatter communities I certainly have that. Pray that the Lord of harvest will thrust out workers to minister the Gospel and compassionate care to needy children and their families around the world. We'll also spend several days in Minneapolis-St Paul and Spokane visiting friends and family so we're grateful for this unexpected opportunity.
