Yesterday a few of us from the Street Impact Team partnered with
Foundation of Truth and Blessed Community Churches to distribute flip-
flops and a nice lunch to 40 street boys and girls. After chatting
with the kids and a few parents we went to were they live along a very
polluted, sticky and poisonous river where a few boys were swimming.
Although the kids live in this very unhealthy hidden community these
kids are still kids because they're playful, hungry, want to learn, to
be listened to and loved. Even though many consider them to be "eye
sores" they are precious to Jesus and also to us.
